Open air dining in Boma - Kruger National Park

I am well aware that there must be many people out there like myself who do not understand what this ‘Boma’ is, I just know I cannot be the only one, so there you have it…I’m asking all the dumbassed questions so you can play it cool with the next ‘non-knower’ you meet.

Sounds pretty great actually, looks pretty great too…so basically here it is, it’s a outdoor area [usually a beautiful one] with a central campfire in the middle but surrounding this huge bonfire if you will and outdoor area are a load of branches placed upright [ I think this is to serve as a protective or demarking tool] these outdoor Bomas I am told can only be found at the most luxurious game lodges.

And anything with the word luxurious in it sounds great to me. So prepare to nestle with some great ambience [created by the fire of course, great lighting- very flattering] while sipping on cocktails or enjoying a great meal. Talk about setting a mood!!!!
