Makoppa’s Nest Safaris

The spectacular Makoppa's Nest Safari Lodge is located on the Western Bank of the Mogalakwena River, flowing North into the Limpopo River, about 20kms from the Lodge. You will be pleased to know that the Lodge is easily accessible by road from Pietersburg (Polokwane) or Ellisras (Lephalale).

The Makoppa's Nest Safari Lodges chalets are built and furnished to accommodate international visitors. The chalets have double beds or single beds and are equipped with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, air-conditioning, and a private patio. The Bush Camp have chalets with breathtaking views over the bushveld surroundings and Mogalakwena river. Some of the chalets face over the pool deck and everyone shares the same view of the pool and recreational area.

Makoppa's Nest Safari Lodge offers guest braai facilities at the main dining lapa where you can enjoy each others company while smelling the fresh meat on the fire. The Lodge has a bar and restaurant where you could relax while the meal is being prepared for you.

During the day you can relax at the sparkling swimming pool or enjoy the African sun on the lawn. There is plenty of wildlife found at the river, such as birds, fish, crocodiles, small antelopes and other wild species.
