Nice Weekend
I had a very nice weekend at Badplaas Resort. I recommend it for anyone who want tohave some fun and be on a pleasant place for few days.

Fantastic Vacation
The accommodation is clean, neat and modern with everything you could need for your vacation. The aircons in the rooms were a blessing and the staff is so friendly and efficient. There were lots of activities and shows organized so there was never a dull moment! We also visited the Day Spa which is of the highest standard and we were treated like loyalty! Steve on the 4-wheeler tour was also one of the high lights! We will definitely go back someday! Thank you!

Bathrooms always clean. The staff are very friendly. Areas arouns pools was alway clean. please think about a life guard at the rinkels too. I whent on that ride and i bumde my head and no life guard to help.

Badplaas
My stay at Badplaas was exceptional , we stayed in a Rondavel , the only recommendation i would make is that i have a 2 year old who fell from the balcony because there is not enough poles moulded on the sides of the balocny (which is not safe for younger children) other than that everything was perfect we will defenetily visit Badplaas again and again my family loves it.

Very comfortable and relaxing
We had a very comfortable and relaxing 3 days there, our only regret we should have booked for a few days longer. Warning, if your looking for peace and quite stay away during weekends and school holidays though!

Kilshaw visit
We really enjoyed our stay. The rondhavel was comfortable and well serviced - the staff were impressive in their friendliness and efficiency the facilities were great. The coffee house breakfasts were to die for and the restaurant although plain had excellent food. Suggestions? May be a rowing machine, a treadmill and a cycle machine in the Hidro to encourage the health conscious!

Badplaas
We stayed in a Rondawel, thanks to Badplaas the toilet and shower areas were cleanded 24/7 and our stay was really a pleasure.

What a weekend..
The booking was fast, the booking in was fast so that already made the 3hour drive beter. Bdaplaas is one of the most cleanest places I know, the views are exellent!! Most of the time we were just on the rinkhals it was really an awesome weekend and if anyone wants to go away for a weekend go to badplaas and book through "Accommodation direct".

Badplaas
Accomodation was fine but a bit noisey as overlooked pond full of frogs!.
Small problem as we paid R815 but only amount less your commission reflected as paid and they thought we should pay the difference.
After some coming and going this was sorted out.

Pearl and friends at Badplaas
Accomodation was comfortable and clean, Staff overall were very helpful and friendly especially at the restaurant, which we enjoyed greatly. The pool and spa were enjoyable. On the whole a relaxing stay.

Room 126 a bit dark
We stayed in room 126, a chalet with 4 single beds, while we so desperately asked for something with a double bed. The room was dark & very cold, but I can imagine that in summer it must be lovely...more lights are definitely needed in the chalet, e.g. one more in the dining area & 2 more outside...at the braai & at the stairs.

Weren’t happy at all!!!!!!!
When booking was made through Accommodation Direct ± December 2009, we asked for 6 stands together. Confirmation was received with reservation numbers etc. that all is in order, BUT when we arrived at Badplaas it was said: FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. You can imagine with school holidays and easter, what Badplaas looked like.

This left 6 VERY UNHAPPY families to try and solve this issue. We eventually ended up 5 families on ONE stand, the other family stayed far from us……Also take note that we had to share with the neighbour “electricity” ALL 5 families as there were no other stands available as we arrived WITH ELECTRICITY points.

My question: Why making bookings in ADVANCE if this is the ATTITUDE (First come first serve basis). I am sorry but this is totally unacceptable. We were highly upset and it was unpleasant for all of our families.

This was our first time at BADPLAAS and we expected better service/attitude , ESPECIALLY when booking in advance.

very nice resort but you are a 3 star but i wount agree i say that for the ablution blocks are def not a 3 star and camping sites need urgent attention

Disappointed
The bookings and service of Accommodation Direct was excellent.

However, We had a major problem with the accommodation of the 3rd night, 7 April 2010. The room was covered with fishmoths allowing us not to sleep the entire night. This was brought forward to the management of the Badplaas Resort the next morning as we unaware that the reception was open 24 hrs. A service form was filled in and handed in to the reception. We called for a supervision of the room before it was cleaned to indicate how serious the problem was. However, our complaint was acknowledged, but the lady at the reception said nothing could be done. We were disappointed at the response.

Week-end at Badplaas
Our stay was very comfortable. The surrounding in Badplaas is beautiful but most of all we relaxed and bonded with the family. Thank you for a wonderful resort.

Badplaas Review - a definitive must-see
We would like to thank the friendly staff at Badplaas for making our stay in November 2009 memorable. We were immediately assisted on arrival (as were the other guests that met up with us the day after our arrival), the bathrooms and pools were clean and well looked after. Our camping site was clean and we could assist to keep it that way by making use of the rubbish bins provided throughout the resort. The many activities provided ensured that we could fill all our days with fun. Thank you Badplaas! You will definitely be seeing us next year!!

Great getaway spot
Badplaas Resort was excellent. A real treat with lots to do. Staff at the Hydro Spa Pools were not too clued up resulting in a confusion regarding the use of the pools. Very disappointing! Some kitchen appliances were damaged and cheapened to experience. Otherwise it is a great resort and I would definitely visit again.

Extremely Well Organised
The Badplaas Resort was very well organized, extremely well kept and clean, accommodation good, program well thought out, clearly visible security, all in all excellent. Just one thing - the go karts and quads for smaller children weren’t working and people with younger children, such as us would have liked these to be in order to keep the kids entertained. Otherwise no other complaints.
