Ezulwini Game Lodges

Ezulwini is the Zulu word for "Place of Paradise".Your personal game ranger will share his experiences of the bush and animals on game drives in an open vehicle. At dusk he'll take you into the world of nocturnal creatures on a night drive, stopping for sundowners as the sun drops over the Drakensberg Mountains.

This total conserved biosphere comprises of 3 million hectares of Africa at her unspoiled best , a fascinating world of indigenous bush and wildlife. Perhaps you will take one of the more thrilling walks of all, through lion country where you will get closer to natures small creatures, trees and birds than you will ever imagine. The swimming pool invites you to cool off and your charming African chalet with its thatched roof invites you to take rest through the heat of the African day. Experience the big seven comprising lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, as well as giraffe, zebra and all the other plains game, and approximately 460 species of birds.

The 3 Game Lodges offer a unique bush experience to all nature lovers. Billy's Lodge on the banks of a seasonal river deep in the bush is surrounded by magnificent Knobthorn, Leadwood and Marula trees. River Lodge is situated on the banks of the majestic Olifants River, largest of the Lowveld rivers. And Paradise Camp is located on the crest of the Olifants River Gorge.

Billy's Lodge

Billy's Lodge offers luxury thatched, twin bed chalets all with en suite bathrooms, on the banks of a seasonal river. Intimate, charming and exclusive describes this secluded lodge, catering for up to 10 guests. Relax in a cozy lounge with a selection of wildlife books and videos, or cool off in the stunning pool before heading out for the evening game drive. All the rooms at Ezulwini have the following : 220V, 50Hz electrical supply; portable drinking water; insect proof screens; air-conditioners and overhead fans; mini-bar, tea and coffee facility; DSTV and Telephone/fax facilities.

River Lodge

River Lodge offers luxury, thatched, twin bed chalets all with en-suite bathrooms, on the banks of the mighty Olifants River, the largest of all of the Lowveld rivers. (sleeps up to 14 guests).

Paradise Camp

The camp reflects the excitement of the gold rush era and is situated on top of a hill, with spectacular 360 degree views. Paradise accommodates a maximum 12 people in raised log cabins and an authentic ox-wagon converted into a bedroom, forming the centerpiece of this trails camp.
