The town of Phalaborwa is situated in the Mopani district in Limpopo and it is near the Kruger National Park and known for its wildlife. The Lowveld has the highest winter temperatures in South Africa where it seldom plummets below 11 degrees Celcius and the rainfall is low. This is the ideal place to enjoy the sun without fearing about temperatures reaching freezing point. The Tulani Safari Lodge has been named after the quiet area where it is situated and all guests experience a tranquil getaway at this lodge.

Guests can choose between twelve self catering rooms or twelve standard rooms. All rooms have air-conditioning, but unlike other lodges, there are no television sets. This decreases the artificial noise to enhance quietness that the bush offers. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated to promote the tranquility of the area. The lodge's facilities include a restaurant, ladies bar, swimming pool, Laundromat, internet access and conference facilities for twenty to forty people. There are many opportunities for bird and game watching and the animals are active in this part of the country where they can roam unhindered.

Visit the Letaba Elephant Museum or take a drive along the Drakensburg Escarpment to appreciate the beauty of South Africa. Take a hike in the area or play a round of golf at the Hans Merensky golf course to explore the area in an active manner. You will reduce stress levels while experiencing nature.
