Berg-en-Dal , is located on the bank of the Matjulu Spruit with views of soft undulating hills to the east. On the northern and southern sides dry riverbeds and a dam border the camp. Large trees line the streams and dry riverbeds. Natural bush and gardens with flowering shrubs and aloes, keeping the camp covered in natural vegetation.
Berg-en-Dal is only 5 hours drive from Johannesburg, and is located in the south western corner of Kruger National Park.
Berg-en-Dal safari Camp's is situated in a ruggedly stunning mountainous terrain. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is a half hour's drive from the Melalane Gate.

Berg-en-Dal Campsites
Berg-en-Dal has 82 tent or caravan sites, with power point, communal ablutions and cooking facilities, maximum of 6 persons per site.
Berg-en-Dal Bungalows
69 Bungalows each with 3-bed units, equipped with toileys and showers. All units have AC and kitchen and you can choose with or without perimeter view.
Berg-en-Dal Family Cottages
23 family Cottages each with 6 bed units, with 2 rooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds in lounge) with separate shower, toilet and bath. Units equipped with open plan kitchen / dining room / lounge.
Guest Houses
J Le Roux accommodates 6 in 3 bedrooms,1 double bed, 2 rooms with single beds. Rhino guest house can accommodate 8 in 4 bedrooms, 2 double beds, 2 rooms with 2 single beds.
Both main rooms are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Separate bathroom service the other rooms. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, lounge and dining room.
The 1st section of the Rhino Trail in the camp is wheelchair friendly and accessible to all with very interesting stops along the way. Part of the trail also caters for the visually impaired.
Berg-en-Dal restaurant is located in the main complex over looking the dam. In the evenings guests can sit outside and enjoy the night sounds and the cool fresh air. There is also a large boma which can be booked for barbecue, private parties, and special events, weddings and conferences.
Night drives into the bush can be arranged. Here they are treated to a traditional braai with the opportunity to play the African Drums.
Berg-en-Dal also has a curio shop available in the camp.
