Camp Shawu

This luxurious Camp, Camp Shawu, gives an image of Africa described by explorers of colonial times. Enjoy gorgeous views of the Mpanamana Dam on private decks. This satellite camp belongs to Shishangeni Lodge and is situated in Kruger National Park. This camp can house ten guests in five large rooms that overlook the Mpanamana dam. All are equipped with a mini bar, a romantic ball and claw bath, ceiling fans, and a sitting area that faces an open fireplace. Also available is an outside shower, a large verandah with reclining chairs and umbrella.

Their central facility consists of an indoor and outdoor dining area, a lounge and a gorgeous pool. Here you can have the opportunity to enjoy an old-fashioned safari first-hand hike on their walking trails. Also available are safaris in the open four wheel drive vehicles. Children of all ages are welcome and baby sitting is available on request. Those under six years can unfortunately not be permitted on the game drives and only those over twelve years are permitted on game walks. Also, just to make nature a bigger reality, there is no telephone of facsimile communication from the camp.

With secure parking, you can feel safe to leave your car. Also available is room safes to keep your belongings in a safe place, laundry service is available also available. Remember to pack cool neutral colour clothing for summer, warm top and pants for evenings, walking shoes, binoculars, sun hat, sun block, bathing suit and warm clothing for winter. There is so much more to enjoy at this glorious and exciting camp.
