Kruger 2011
Wonderful location. We saw countless Elephant and Giraffe around the area. Efficient staff who change the bedding everyday and clean your braii. Safari tent was perfect - keeps you in touch with nature throughout your visit. Wildlife in the camp site can be just as interesting! Good facilities for the money - better equiped convolution kitchens than Lower Sabie's. Made many friends on the campsite, exchanged stories and tips about finding the big 5!

Crocodile Bridge camp
This is a lovely small little camp with most rondavels overlooking the river. There are plenty of trees & shade and a resident troupe of vervet monkeys to entertain you. The upgrading of the small shop to a larger facility with light meals is a bonus. We only spent one night here and wished it was longer.

Talamati Rest Camp
Talamati Camp is a real bushveld camp which is 27kms from Orpen Camp + another 40kms to Satara. The camp itself was very nice with excellent accommodation. We saw very little game around the camp and had to drive long distances toward Satara or Orpen to see game. We were booked in for eight days and the long drives on gravel roads were a little off- putting. I would certainly recommend this camp but for a short term stay.

Mr Rigler, Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp, Stay October 2010
Overall the stay was very pleasant, the only things that I found not to my liking were as follows:

• The shower plumbing in the Bungalow was blocked, we did get someone out to fix but did not work.

• There we cockroaches in and around the bungalow

• The bed clothing seemed very old.

Otherwise the stay at the camp was very good,
the camping ablutions were very clean,
Staff were very helpful and the Camp Shop was
stocked very well.

All in all My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in KNP
We spent 1 night in Croc Bridge and 4 nights in Talamati Bush Camp. the accommodation was good, clean and comfortable. Staff were quite efficient but generally not too friendly. Game viewing was exceptional but gravel roads in the vicinity of Talamati and Satara were very corrugated and spoilt the trip somewhat. We saw 6 leapard in the 5 days which i consider incredible good luck and the big 5 on at least 6 occasions.

Think as a visitor
The road over the Crocodile River Bridge was impassable when we arrived and had been for over a week. NO signs. No prior contact. This put about 120kms on the trip into the Park and the same again exiting.
The dirt roads desparately needed grading; most of the equipment was standing idle.
The 2 x hot plates at Crocodile Bridge are dangerous. The isolator sign was upside down.. the plates were on when the isolator indicated off, the pilot light indicator was not working and the individual plate control gave no indication which plate they controlled, also the settings were not what they indicated i.e. 0 was not off!
Staff were pleasant and helpful, shops well stocked.

We had a wonderful experience!!

I would like to especially mention that your consultant, Eugene Dennis, was most helpful and accommodating to us, and I believe a real asset to the company. He set a very high standard of service, which was followed through by all the staff which we encountered.

We entered at your lowest gate, and my only suggestion would be to have water on sale there, as we did not realise how far away crocodile bridge camp was, and if i am not mistaken there was only ice/ice cream and snacks on sale.

Bat droppings
The only problem we had was that our bed was covered in bat droppings. This made the children very excited. We really felt that we were living in the bush !!
