Stonecutters Lodge is set in a most spectacular natural setting just two and a half hours from O.R. Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, in the Mpumalanga Highlands. The lodge is between Dullstroom and Lydenburg (Mashishing) in the heart of South Africa's trout and fly fishing territory.

Stonecutters Lodge's accommodation is of the highest standard offering guests comfort and luxury. The Lodge can sleep 22 guests on the estate and everything is fully equipped and serviced. The venue is comprised of family houses, the Stone Cottage, the Trout House and the Cobbles studios, which are ideal for couples.
The cobbles are self-catering suites with en-suite (shower only) studios, under tile and under carpet heating, a kitchenette, DSTV and wooden deck with a jet-master gas braai. The trout house is double storey with three bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining are and has wheelchair access downstairs. The lovely Stone Cottage with its elevated views over the estate is nestled on the edge of the pine forest and has a lounge with TV and fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a covered patio with a barbecue. Stone Manor is the luxurious building with reception rooms, a dining are, pub and conference boardroom. During the winter you can enjoy the large fireplace and in the summer stroll through the natural garden.
Stonecutters Lodge is a very scenic country estate with amazing river walks, a wetland and bird-hide, great picnic places and river pools. Dullstroom is nearby where you can visit the Bird of Prey Center, go quad biking, horse riding, play golf or tennis, explore the museum or you could visit one of the pubs or restaurants.
