Blyde Chalets is located in Mpumalanga, with fabulous sightseeing opportunities and historic venues, is rated in the top 5 tourism destinations in South Africa. Strategically located in the heart of the tourism area, Blyde Chalets is at the gateway to the Panorama Route near the picturesque town of Graskop. Situated on the very edge of the Escarpment, this lively tourism center offers you the ultimate base from which to discover all the popular sightseeing venues, including the Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest, and Blyde River Canyon.

The accommodation at Blyde Chalets offers self catering chalets, within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in town. The Small chalets have en-suite bathrooms, an open plan lounge, and a kitchenette with a 2 plate stove, cutlery and crockery, toaster, kettle and other essential cooking utensils. The comfortable double sleeper couch provides sleeping accommodation for three people. Each chalet has television and its own Braai facility.

The accommodation at Blyde Chalets also features Big Chalets, which are two bedroom units, consisting of one bedroom with a double bed as well as an additional bedroom with two single beds. The chalet is fitted with a bathroom, open plan kitchen and lounge area with TV. There are two benches in the lounge area to sleep children. Each unit is also equipped with its own Braai facility.

Blyde Chalets offers a restaurant The Glass House on site that serves breakfast and lunches and also a Curios shop for crafts and gifts. Several choices for activities in the surrounding area. Mpumalanga Escarpment region is world-famous for its picturesque beauty, with its plethora of waterfalls and grand view points of the Lowveld below, as well as the Blyde River Canyon. Within a 15 km radius from Graskop you will find The Pinnacle, Gods Window, Berlin Falls, Mac Mac Falls, and Lisbon Falls. Slightly further away are Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Three Rondavels, Sabie and its waterfalls, Pilgrims Rest and Environs Kruger National Park (all within a 50-60 km radius).

Also worth a visit, if you have the time, are White Lion Project (110 km) and the Breeding Center for Endangered Species (100 km).

Activities featured in Graskop and surrounding areas will keep your adrenaline rushing like never before! Enjoy horse riding, motorbike tours, golf or gold panning. Trek along marvelous trails, or enjoy the 4 x 4 routes. Nature lovers can avail of walks which range from a few hours to a few days in duration, including Belvedere Walk, Jock of the Bushveld Walk, Secretary Bird Trail Loerie Trail, Fanie Botha Hiking Trail, and Blyderiver Canyon Hiking Trail.
