Panorama has a wonderful view from the Chalets. The hospitality & Helpfulness of our host & advice of adventure was appreciated. We used Panorama as a base, went to Hazy view for River rafting & Canopy Tours. There is many restaurants in Grasskop but we found that just next door was a pleasant and Romantic Restaurant where we dined to celebrate my girlfriends Birthday.

The cottages are situated in a very beautiful place. The place is very well kept, very clean and well taken care of, pity the inside of the cottages aren't the same. Many appliances did not work, the kettle, the air condicionar,the shower head,the door did not close properly, etc.

Unbelievable view from the chalets that are situated in very well maintained gardens. Managed strictly and well although a smile at reception would make the checking in and out process that more pleasant.Overall a pleasant stay.

Panorama Rest Camp is most conveniently located and offers fair value at verrry good rates - and a spectacular scenery. Our cottage featured a bathtub with no shower ("a feature insisted upon by the individual owner"). Ladies in need of a hair rinse better carry a water bottle ;-) The location of the swimming pool: breathtaking!!

The Chalet was a good one. The view from the chalet and pool was stunning. The season and hight made that the pool was freezing but the warm bath made that right again. The beds were very good. The chairs at the table weren't that good. But it was an awesome place to be!!!!

We enjoyed staying here. It is a beautiful setting and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful, with one exception. An "older woman" whose name I do not know, decidedly rubbed my husband the wrong way. He found her rather surly. For example: When we first went to light the stove we realized we would need matches to do so. There were none in the kitchen so my husband went to the front desk to get some. He was told that there were some for sale, but that she would go ahead and give him some this time. This is a small thing, but we were paying good money to stay in our cabin and the idea of PAYING for matches not only seemed ridiculous, but sort of insulting. Little encounters like this one were a bit unpleasant, but it would,'t dissuade me from either returning myself,or recommending Panorama to others. I might warn them though about the "mean lady," as my son put it.
