Highgrove House

Highgrove House is set in a lovely pastoral setting with wonderful views of the Lowveld valley a malaria free area in Mpumalanga. The original Colonial Farmstead was built around the turn of the 20th century and was renovated in 1990 and finally opened a year later. Highgrove Guest House combines distinctive accommodation with gourmet cuisine, designated as one of South Africa's Top 10 Restaurants by Eat Out Restaurant Review. The charm of the farmstead remains and modern comforts have been added to ensure guests have a wonderful holiday.

Our tranquil accommodations at Highgrove House consist of 8 stylishly appointed garden suites with full en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower, king-size or twin beds and lavish bed furnishings. The overhead fans circulate a feeling of "Out of Africa." The suites have separate sitting rooms, open fireplaces and private verandas overlooking the valley or forest and avocado orchards. Private saunas and swimming pools accompany the two orchard suites, ensuring absolute luxury and privacy. The guest list is only at sixteen people at a time so you are assured of a personalized service.
