We have stayed at Kruger Park Lodge a number of times, generally booking through the KPL office. This is the first time we have booked direct. The problem with this arrangement was the absence of a credit card facility, making the payment of the deposit and the balance difficult.
The accommodation, however, is excellent.
What we will never understand is why Legacy allow such a special resort to be ruined by the dreadful standard of catering and restaurant service provided there by a Wiesenhof franchise. It really is dreadful and I have written to Legacy management about it, yet it has gone from bad to very much worse.Since we were there for just three days, it was not really practical to self-cater.
For this reason, we shall never go there again and having experienced better times in the past, it is a sad demise of what should be a quality resort.
