LittleBush Private Lodge

LittleBush Private lodge is situated at the foot of the majestic Drakensburg Mountain Range in the Limpopo province of South Africa. LittleBush lodge is situated in a typical South African Bushveld ecosystem. Various wildlife can be seen during your stay with the sound of lion roars accompanying you while dining at our restaurant or relaxing under the African night sky. The lodge is a bird watchers paradise with nine of the ten kingfisher species viewable on the premises. Our bushveld styled accommodation units are thus also aptly named after these kingfisher species.

There are numerous indigenous fauna and flora on the property. The Fauna include: the Cape Red Duiker, the Grey Duiker, Bushbuck, Porcupine, Warthogs as well as five types of the seven known Kingfishers. The Flora include; the Marula, the Brown Ivory, the Zebrabark Corkwood, the White Thorn, the Impala Lilly including numerous indigenous cycads.

We offer you bushveld accommodation which has specifically been built from materials found in the local habitat, creating a true African/bushveld milieu throughout the lodge. Everywhere you look, the design of the lodge is based on the natural forms, shapes and textures of the bushveld flora. Rooms and amenities are stylishly decorated with African art work in the form of a variety of handcrafts. While sipping a sundowner on your private deck, relaxing next to the swimming pool in the African sun or washing off the days dirt in an open air bushveld shower - every moment at our lodge will be an experience to remember!
