Guests are put up in one of twenty double rooms, with large ensuite bathrooms and breathtaking views. There are also a further two self catering family chalets available at Matumi Game Lodge, with six beds in each. These chalets have TV sets and a small kitchenette for meal preparations. All the rooms are fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans for your comfort.
Guests will love spending time in the tropical landscaped gardens, and especially enjoy taking dips in the large, refreshing swimming pool. You can sip a cocktail from the outdoor bar, while sun bathing on the deck. The children will enjoy playing and making friends in the playground, complete with swings and a trampoline.
Meals are either served outside beneath the stars in the open air reed boma, or else in the delectable restaurant. This restaurant has a blackjack table, as well as a customized pool table, for after dinner fun! The meals are sumptuous with everything from buffalo steaks and venison dishes right down to warthog chops and delicious desserts. Guests can enjoy these creations while watching the live entertainment of African drummers.
You'll be in awe of the magnificent game to be seen in this area, including Africa's Big Five, there are also over 130 species of exquisite bird life surrounding Matumi Game Lodge. Being on the border of the well known Kruger National Park, day trips are easily organised, where you will have the chance to get those much wanted photographs of lions and leopards, and an array of other wild life.
