The chalets are situated close to the Komati River, offering a variety of trees and bird life, ideal for keen bird watchers & fisherman.
Facilities :
Komati River Chalets offers their guests the opportunity to enjoy guided safaris into the Kruger National Park; this must be pre-arranged with management. For those self driving, access into the Kruger National Park is at Crocodile Bridge Gate(11km) or at Malelane Gate (50km away).
After a day of game viewing there is nothing more enjoyable than relaxing with a drink at the fully licensed bar overlooking the pool area. In the evening you can enjoy a true South African braai (barbeque).
Take a leisure walk along the scenic Komati River, enjoy the variety of bird life or try your luck at a spot of fishing. Within 2km Golfers can enjoy a game of golf on the newly opened golf course.
Komati Rriver Chalets is easily accessible from the N4 and only 2 km from the Mozambique border, ideally situated for the tourist visiting Maputo. The Swaziland border is only 55 km away.
Continental and Full Farmhouse (English) breakfast are served in the dining room every morning from 07h00 to 09h00 at the guest's request. Packed breakfast can be arranged for guests. Departing early (Prior booking essential).
Komatipoort offers a Shopping Center, banks, Doctors, a Pharmacy and Restaurants.
In the event of an emergency all guests are registered with M.R.I (Medical Rescue Insurance).

River walk :
A Trail, situated along the banks of the majestic Komati River, is also available to enjoy at your leisure.
The chance of seeing a Crocodile, a Hippopotamus and her baby as well as seeing some of the numerous species of birds, adds something truly magnificent to this nature walk.
Game drives :
Komati River Chalets is only 11 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate, into the southern part of the Kruger National Park. Game viewing may be done in private vehicles or on a day safari with our professional guide and photographer.
We offer Rhino walking trails with a professional guide in a near-by pvt. Game reserve. Day trips to Maputo in Mozambique and Swaziland by prior booking.
Panoramic day drives to the Mpumalanga Drakensburg, Gods Window etc.
Fishing safaris :
Fishing Safaris (Tiger fishing) are done by boat, and bank fishing is done from the river banks near your chalets.
