Nice location and well run!
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The place was clean and had all the basics. Nice to have a pool and onsite bar, and be on the river. Very close to Kruger and the roads to Swazi and Mozambique.

Pleasant stay at KRC
Lovely place. The chalet we stayed in had 2 very large bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Only problem we had was the coal trains rumbling throughout the night, which disturbed our sleep. We were also alarmed one night by what we thought was a veld fire very close by, which turned out to be sugar cane burning. We were told that this is a normal event before harvesting. The chalets all have thatched roofs, so we were a bit worried.

KRC Relaxation
We have a lovely stay at KRC and the welcoming we received was warm and had a wonderful time there. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay at Komati River Chalets. The house were fully equipped and clean. We will definitely stay there again. The gardens were lovely. Thank you.

Space & Warm water
We enjoyed our stay, but the lounge of the 6 sleeper cottage is far to small and we did not had enough warm water for all 6 guests in the evening (gyser to small?).

Nature's calling you :-)
The place was exceptionally beautiful-nature at its best & the owners were very friendly &helpful......thinking of coming back with family and friends. Its near to all ameneties, Mozie border , komatie river and just a short walk to the kruger national part!!!!

Thank you guys for making us feel so welcomed and at home, will definately se you soon .

KOMATI RIVER CHALETS
WE COULD NOT GET THE IN TIME BUT EVERY THING WAS SET
FOR US.PPL ARE VERY FRIENDLY EVEN THE STAFF WAS VERY
NICE.I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.OUT OF 10 WE GIVE THEM 9.

Equipped & Beautiful

Komati River Chalets Rocks!
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. A big thank you to Jenny, her husband & mother for their great hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms had everything a self catering room should have, they were cleaned every morning, and to top it all of, the cleaning staff was very friendly.
We had our own braai area, but thanks to our wonderful neighbour, we didn't have to do our own braaing.

The lodge is on the banks of the Komati river, which was great because we could go fishing there, or take a walk and enjoy the scenery. We even went to Mozambique because the lodge is about 2km from the border, and we also went for the evening game drive at the Kruger National Park, so it's conveniently positioned if you want to see all the wonderful attractions around the area.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay, and would definetly recommend it to anyone.

Good Overnight stop
Komati River Chalets is well positioned next to the Mozambique Border and provides an ideal overnight/weekend stop. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The airconditioned chalets are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the train can be somewhat noisey.
