Failte Safari Lodge

"Failte" meaning "Welcome" in Gaelic is what you will feel upon arrival at the lodge. Immediately your mind will transform itself from "city" to "bush" mode and you will begin to relax and unwind in the beautiful surrounds of nature.

This private house sleeps 8 guests in luxury. The main queen bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with shower, corner bath, toilet and basin. The second queen bedroom also has en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The loft area sleeps 4 in comfort and ideally for the kids. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with double door fridge and freezer and microwave.

The braai/barbeque area is ideally positioned and lighted well to enjoy it with family and friends late into the night listening to the chorus consisting of owls, bush babies, frogs, crickets and a myriad of other contributors. Game like Zebra, Warthog, Kudu and Duiker will visit you regularly at the house.

The deck area overlooks only bush and the joining fenced game park "Lion Spruit" which hold Lion, Rhino and Buffalo whom may show themselves from time to time. Lower verandah area has a comfortable Jacuzzi (not heated)to relax and cool off on those hot summer days. All linen, bedding and towels are provided. The house has 24 hour security with armed response with your own panic button serviced by the local security company.

Marloth Park has several km river frontage of the Crocodile River which is situated in the Kruger National Park. Most animals including the BIG 5 are often spotted in the area. Late afternoon sundowners along this river are very popular and a must see when you visit. We are only +- 34 km from the Crocodile Bridge and +-47 km from the Malelane gate which is situated in the south of the Kruger Park.
