Nestled on a Nature Reserve Called Marloth Park, it boarders the Kruger National Park.
Getaway Bush is close to the Crocodile River, 100 meters walk or drive to view any of the Big 5/6.
No fencing is allowed around the houses thus animals such as Giraffe, Kudu, Wilder Beest, Zebra, Impala, Bush Buck,Wart Hogs, Baboons Moneys and many more roam freely amongst the houses. Abundant bird life is seen, especially in winter months. Half an hours drive to two of Kruger National Parks entrance gates, Malalane Gate and Crocodile Bridge Gate.

- Sleeps 4 guests. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children
Each have there own Private Entertainment Areas. They can either be booked separately or together for bigger groups, up to 11 guests.

There are may Interesting Self Drive Day Trips that can be done, from Marloth Park, to Gods Window, Pilgrims Rest, Sudwala Caves, Mozambique, Swaziland, Cultural Village, please feel free to contact me for more details.
Self Drive / Walks / Mountain bike rides (bring own Bike) can be done in Marloth and along the 10km fence that devides Marloth from the Kruger Park, any of the Big 5 / 6 can be seen. Do not walk before dawn or after dusk, as Lion Hyena and Leopard have been spotted in Marloth from time to time. An enjoyable 100 meters walk from the house (via the road)to see what animals are bathing / drinking in the Croc River. NB Always wear appropriate hiking attire when you want to walk in the bush and always take a stick with you. Look out for the Small 5, these are amazing and very interesting creatures.
Or you can just relax and recharge at Getaway Bush and enjoy the animals that come and visit you. Take in and absorb the African Magic by sitting around the Boma Fire enjoying the company of family and friends, sipping at your favorite beverage. Be mesmerized by the night sights and sounds, snorting of Wilder Beest and the mating sounds of the Impala or Hippo. At night, look out for Fire Flies (Glow Worms) and the inquisitive Bush Babies. Not to mention the beautiful starry nights.
