Marloth Park / general information
Marloth Park is a private residential game reserve located on the Crocodile River on the southern boundary of Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is about 450km from Joburg and the turnoff is 20km after Malelane on the N4 to Mozambique. Marloth Park is unique in that the wild animals are allowed to roam freely around the villas. This offers the opportunity to see Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck, Nyala, Water Buck, Reed Buck, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Giraffe, Warthogs, Duiker, Zebra, Mongooses, baboons and monkeys around the cottages is very good. Elephant, Rhino and Hippo's can also often be seen down along the Crocodile river. Marloth Park has a huge variety of birds which can be seen without having to leave your home. Marloth Park has a gas station and 2 shopping centres. Most of your essentials can be bought from them, the Bush Centre also has a very nice pub that offers reasonably priced meals and a drink. Komatipoort is 20km from the Kruger Park and Malelane 30km from the Kruger Park. Malelane has an airport, access to Kruger via the Crocodile Bridge Gate is only 10 kilometers away or the alternative is Malelane Gate which is 30km. Some accommodation in Marloth Park
