Mopani Rest Camp is situated on the banks of the Pioneer Dam. It's is a relatively new camp, but has plenty to offer. It has spectacular views over the dam ideal for bird watching. Mopani trees form a big part of the vegetation in and around the camp, and has been left untouched. The satellite Tsendze Rustic camp gives an undisturbed bush experience.
Mopani Rest Camp is located 12 km from the Tropic of Capricorn. The camp also has a stay over game/bird viewing hide, Shipandane.

45 x bungalows (4 beds, 1 twin-bedroom, 2 bunk beds in alcove, 1 bathroom, veranda with kitchenette and outside barbecue)
12 x cottages ( 4beds , 1 twin-bed room, 2 sleeper couches in lounge, 2 bathrooms, veranda with kitchenette and outside barbecue
45 x Guest cottages (6 beds, 3 twin-bed rooms, 1 with bathroom en-suite), 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge/dining area, large veranda and outside barbecue.
Mopani Guest House Xanatseni ( 8 bedrooms, 1 room with double bed, 3 twin-bed rooms, one of which is wheelchair friendly, large lounge/dining room and kitchen, outside covered bar and veranda area with view of the dam. Sleeping cottages are loose standing form lounge/dining area. There is communal barbecue facilities.)
Sleepover Hide
Shipandani hide has 6 beds at the Tsendze River near camp.
Activities at Mopani camp include morning, sunset and night drives and guided bush walks and drives, wildlife shows and an unforgettable bush braai (barbeque).
