Visit the Sudwala Caves - one of the major tourist attractions in the Crocodile River Valley and only 25 km from town. The road between Blyde River Canyon and Pilgrim's Rest is particularly scenic and overlooks the Blyde River. Pilgrim's Rest is rich in history with an array of fascinating old style shops to explore. Near the entrance bridge of Sabie are the Bridal, Lone Creek and Horseshoe Falls. Mac-Mac falls and - Pools are beautiful. Gods` Window, the Pinical, and Three Rondavels are a must. Day trips to Kruger National Park are very popular. Nearest gate is Malelane 45km.

One of the finest and most interesting botanic gardens in South Africa, set in beautiful surroundings on the Crocodile River near Nelpruit. The gardens feature a number of unique botanical collections from a Cycad garden to a tropical forest containing a comprehensive variety of fig trees waterfall and hanging bridge. Just outside Nelspruit,is the Jane Goodall Institude Chimpanzee Eden-a haven for rescued chimps and one of only a handful on the planet.
