Pafuri Rivercamp Reviews

6 of us stayed at Pafuri in December and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is what is says on the tin, basic but extremely good. The hospitality was exceptional, everyone had time for us and could not do enough to help. We had dinner with all the other guests and the food was very good. Were advised to look out for scorpions, but didn't see one. HAve a walk along the river in the early morning, a real joy!!

this was an exception place to stay you really felt you are in the jungle we had so much fun staying here and the owners were very accomodating, we would recommend this to everyone who enjoys the outdoors.

We spent 6 days at Pafuri River Camp over Easter with 3 families. We had a lot of laughs around the cosy bush bar, and also got to experience the TRUE bush in ways that not many people will get the chance to do. The kids had a blast running around freely and learnt a lot about nature. Thanks to the friendly staff, and especially Robert the chef, who catered some awesome food made in a bush kitchen. In short - seriously relaxing - World class!! We will be back soon.

We were surprised to find the lodge just outside the Kruger Park (% km), but still enjoyed it as it is in a rural setting along a river bank. The rustic accommodation works well. Pity about the generator on the opposite bank.
