Nestled away in the deep, dense bush veld and surveying the Timbavati riverbed lies Maroela Camp, a shelter for avid wildlife campers. Located on the banks of the Timbavati River in the centre of the Kruger National Park, about 4km from Orpen, Maroela Camp is exceptional as it is the only camp that caters exclusively for campers and caravans.
On the doorstep to the Maroela Camp is a little watering hole where visitors can view a variety of game, there is also a rustic platform that investigates the Timbavati River. The riverbed is a brilliant hiding place for leopard and great entertainment area for Elephant.
Accommodation at Maroela Camp consists of 24 campsites and is a dream location for caravans and campers, with excellent cooking, washing and barbecuing amenities and a communal bathroom that is superbly maintained.

Track the Big Five on a guided bush walk or take part in the nocturnal activities of the Park’s enigmatic creatures on a night game drive & scrutinize the African bush.
