Your hosts Elly and Jacques Smit are very pleased to offer you an all African experience. After running their own bakery in the Netherlands for 28 years they are still happy to make fresh bread for their all exclusive Dutch breakfast. Their unique guesthouse Umoja has two different locations. Both are fully equipped to make everyone's stay, a perfect stay. On request they can even cook you a delicious 3-course meal. Every guest is free to make their own plans and on request Elly and Jacques will tell you about everything that's to do and help you finding suitable activities. Let them know what you would like to do and they'll make reservations for you.

Choose for a more homely atmosphere in the comfort of your own fully furnished 2 persons home in the village of Phalaborwa, gateway to Kruger National Park. The guesthouse has got an en suite bathroom, comfortable double bed, fantastic Lapa (African patio) with view onto the exotic garden and a swimming pool. Umoja village house with poolThere is a fully equipped kitchen for self catering but you can also choose for bed and breakfast. It is 3 km away from the famous Kruger National Park and 5 km away from the Hans Merensky 18 hole golf course. The house is a well equipped 30 square meter studio with two single beds and bathroom. Next to the entrance is a small sunny private terrace. The side entrance has a lapa with braai and a view over the beautiful tropical garden with swimming pool. The lapa is for collective use
