Pretoriuskop Rest Camp is situated in the southwestern corner of the world-famous Kruger National Park alongside awesome granite rock outcrops, formed 3600 million years ago when molten rock forced its way through the earth's crust and solidified.
Pretoriuskop Rest Camp is adorned by stunning red trees; the garden is formed only using plants indigenous to this region. Shabeni granite hill is near the Pretoriuskop camp. Pretoriuskop camp is the oldest and most unique camp in the Kruger National Park and is unlike any of the others. The accommodation at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp consist of:
Pretoriuskop Huts
30 huts, there is a choice of two, three, five or six-bed huts each with a kitchen and communal toilets. You may select a hut with no fridge or a hut with a fridge and AC.
Pretoriuskop Bungalows
Pretoriuskop has 54 bungalows and guests can choose between two, four and six bed 2, 4 or 6-bed bungalows. The bungalows are equipped with toilets, some with showers, some with baths and AC. You can choose between a kitchenette or a communal kitchen.
Pretoriuskop Family Cottages
There are four family cottages each with six beds per cottage. The kitchens are fully equipped and they have a living room. The master bedroom is en-suite, with a bath, toilet, and washbasin.
Pretoriuskop Guest Houses
There are two great guest houses, Pierre Joubert and Doherty Bryant . Both are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen, TV, lounge and dining room. Pierre Joubert has 16-beds and Doherty Bryant has 9-beds.
Pretoriuskop Campsites
There is a 40 tent and caravan site, with power points, communal toilets and cooking facilities, sleeping a max of 6.
Places to visit near Pretoriuskop are the Mestel Dam, Albasini Ruins, Shitlhave Dam and Napi Rocks.
