Surprise
We were very surprised with Pretoriuskop camp. The last time I was there I was still living with my parents, I am a granny now. What a lovely bungalow and camp. We heard there are not so much animals there but this was completely untrue. We saw 5 rhinos, zebras, buffalo and many other animals. Will come visit this camp again.

Pretoriuskop
We just experience that it was a problem to get nice stands for our caravan, because the park was very full. At the end we parked 2 caravans on one stand and it was difficult to park, because the parking level was much higher than street level. My husband had an operation and could not help to move the caravan. It was very sandy and we really struggled. I want to suggest that stands must be marked off and elder people must have the opportunity to book certain stands or provide them with help even if they have to pay for the help, which I think anyway happens when you get help. It will also mean a job for 2 or more people. I suggest also another Ablution block. By times it was really crowded in there. Otherwise we really enjoyed our holiday and will definitely come back. Thank you very much.

Pretoriuskop Rest Camp
A very need camp to stay. The only problem is you have to use the same roads more than once to look for animals.

Visit to Kruger National Park
My stay at the park was very relaxing and my family and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. I will recommend the park to any person who may ask about it. It was my first ever stay at the park and I was happy about every aspect of my visit.

THE PAGE THAT PROBABLY WONT MAKE A DIFFERENCE
THE STAFF WERE VERY GOOD AND FRIENDLY. THE CAMP ALSO NEAT AND TIDY.THE ONLY SORT OF COMPLAINT WE HAD WAS THAT THERE WAS NO KETTLE IN THE ROOM(NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE NORM)ALSO WE HAD SOME TENTS THAT WERE RIGHT ON TOP OF THE BUNGALOW(3 OF THEM)AND WE FELT LIKE SARDINES IN A CAN.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY THERE BUT I WAS NOT THERE LONG ENOUGH TO REALLY ACESS THE CAMP.THE FOLLOWING EVENING WE STAYED AT BERG EN DAL AND IT WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.THE AREA WAS FULL OF GAME AT PRETORIOUS KOP SO IT WAS STILL WORTH IT.

Kruger Park
Good Morning,

We enjoyed our stayed at the Kruger. The facilities and surrounding areas within the Kruger are exceptionally well maintained, and the cleanliness is exceptional.
The Hut and braai area is great and once again, kept extremely clean and tidy. However, and this is rather upsetting to mention, but the staff whom we came in contact with, from the reception area to the restaurants, to the stores in Pretorius Camp, Skukuza Camp, and Lower Sabie Camp are extremely unhelpful, and down right rude. I believe that it is in the best interests of the Kruger that the staff, especially those dealing with customers be sent on some sort of customer relations and communication course. I feel extremely sorry for the Foreign visitors to the Kruger because they have a language barrier as it is, and then dealing with the staff who are incompetent, leaves somewhat of a bit taste in there mouth.

Thank you!
Regards

Pretoriuskop
We enjoyed our stay. The one thing I would recommend it that outside lights and tables be available at the huts. It was a bit of a problem trying to see and having a place to put your things when we were having our braai at night.

A great camp but a bad experience
Pretoriuskop is a lovely camp, but unfortunately our experience was ruined completely by some of the other guests there.
Our neighbours had a party one night until after midnight! And there was a big group on our sunset drive who were there to have fun and make a noise instead of being interested in the animals!

But the camp and the staff were good, and we saw two cheetah and side striped jackal which was amazing!!

Comfortable and basic
Everything worked well, good value for money. Lacking a bit of charm as compared to a few other camps. Too big.

Pretoriuskop Rest Camp
We stayed in the EB2 hut for 2 nights. We found the accommodation to be extremely small, but overall OK. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We saw a lot of animals and the cherry on top - a CHEETAH!

The Magic of the Kruger Park
We experienced the big five one day before lunch, encountering a leopard on three occasions which we had never seen before on numerous visits. Also a Cheetah with two tiny cubs, a tremendous visit all round

Overall the stay was good. We had a lot of rain and the stands was a mudpool. I would recommend some sort of ash/stone covering to eliminate this problem. Monkeys was a problem you have to close everything inside your caravan. Otherwise I like this camp.

Skukuza
We stayed in one of the tents at the tented camp. The accomodation wasn't too bad considering the price we paid. I do howver think the duvet covers could be replaced as they just looked dirty and i didnt want to touch them. The worst part of the accomodation was the ablution facilities. My husband was repulsed at how poorly they were maintained. The ladies loo wasn't too bad but he said them mens bathroom was a serious health risk. I would seriously think twice before booking in the camping section or reccomending it to anyone else.

Pretoriuskop
We stayed in one the rondavals, which was neatly kept. The facilities were a little old and in need of some upgrading but I did notice some had already been revamped and look forward to returning to the upgraded accomodation. The swimming pool was beautiful and the restaurant was amazingly decorated. Facilities should be provided for cash withdrawls as we had problems with fillin gour car with petrol as the did not accept any cards.

Above expectations
We recenly spent 4 days at pretoriuskop in the Kruger. The bungalow was above what we expected, airconditioned, screens, braai, seating both indoor and outdoor. When we had a problem it was dealt with immediately.Shopping facilities were good and the restaurant not so good.We were extremely fortunate to have seen all the big 5 within the first day. Also to have had the guidance of an old school friend who came into the park and showed severalplaces for viewing that he knew. Our sunset drive could not have been better (except for the weather).Within 2 minutes of setting off we came across a lion and his mate, just lying at the side of the road. What more could anyone ask.
All in all an excellent visit with hundreds of photos and memories.
Many thanks SANPARKS.
We shall definitely be returning.

Enjoyed the stay. Just there is alot of spiders that comes down from the roof onto the bed during the night. And some are poisonous.
Otherwise we really enjoyed it the staff was friendly. The pool was great and the restaurant had great food. Will go back, but with some cans of Doom for the spiders.

Thank you

Allways a pleasure to visit, can't wait for the upgrades to see what it will look like.Very pricy meals, accomodation was clean and enjoyable. Why can South Africans pay a seperate rate when visiting the park? The international visitors are a must but why should we be overcharged because they come with foreign currency.
