Leadwood Lodge

Leadwood Lodge is situated adjacent to the fabulous well known and loved Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Game Reserve has always been known for the intimate wildlife encounters it offers, especially the leopard sightings. The area is home to the Big 5 and many other wonderful wildlife, stretching over 2 million hectares.

Accommodation at Leadwood Lodge consists of:

Once you have visited the Leadwood Lodge you will want to stay and take root there. The lodge is named after the fabulous ancient trees in the area. Nestled in the very fork of the gorgeous Mabrak and Sand Rivers, the Leadwood Lodge offers all guests a serene and cozy getaway that has it all. There are only 4 suites available that have been ever so carefully distanced away from each other to ensure you have ample privacy. The lodge is the perfect place for parties of friends and family get-togethers.

The open-air dining area at Leadwood Lodge welcomes you to wholesome aromas and very friendly faces. You can linger over a fabulous leisurely meal while you enjoy the bush chandelier and afterwards you can join everyone at the blazing fire in the boma. Each of the rooms have their own fireplaces and fantastic free standing bathtubs which beckon you after a long day out and about. The underfloor heating will chase away the chill during those colder months.

Relax out on the private deck and absorb the peace and tranquility of the magnificent bush. The large windows allow you to view the animals from a distance, especially those that make their way to the drinking hole. The bush walks enable guests to get a little closer to nature. Guests will have experienced rangers with them to explain the details of the surroundings. Leadwood Lodge offers two game drives a day bringing you into the natural habitat of the wild.
