Firstly, Kruger will always be a "bargain" - THE BUSH IS A BARGAIN !!!
Sable: Positive: nice bush experience - we just had a lot of wind that "blew away" the sounds and animals for the night but that's niot our fault.
Negative: the one toilet had a very bad smell all the time - maybe it's time for a "honey sucker clean up"
Balule: Positive - the "rustic" experience is excellent ! I like the "primitive" feeling - no electricity is great !
Negative: How about planting more trees to put your tent under or maybe just start watering the current trees on a regular basis so that they can grow faster. There are not a lot of shade on most of the stands.
The camp attendant is not a very friendly guy (maybe he had a bad "week"). It will be nice (it is actually VERY important) to have a more friendly person attending to guests.
General, Negative: The lookout points around Oilfants camp on the hills are dirty. Toilet paper is lying "all over". I do understand that woman has it a bit more difficult and if one "has to go you have to", but can someone not go around once or twice a week and clean up - apart from the health risk, it is aestetically very unpleasing.
(I am willing to put in a suggestion and quote for a "picnic/lookout clean up service" in Kruger around all picnic/lookout sites - I am serious. If I can contact someone to discuss this please let me know with whom I can liaise).
Other than the above, we have already booked for our next trip to Kruger.
