Satara Camp, the 3rd largest of Sanparks game camps is located in the central Kruger Park region in an excellent game viewing area, making it very popular. Satara Camp has a colonial feel with its red-roofed public buildings, round thatched bungalows in a laager formation and neat gardens.
The bush is relatively open, making the game easy to view. Satara Camp can accommodate over 400 visitors in huts arranged in 7 concentric circles. The camp is green making the bird-life prolific. Satara is one of the best camps to view Lion, Leopards and Cheetahs and giraffe. Dusk brings out fruit bats, owls, cicadas and crickets.

Satara Bungalows
Satara has 152 bungalows with two or three bed rooms and a communal kitchen. Bungalows are equipped with AC, toilets, showers, but some with baths. Choose between a kitchenette and communal kitchen.
Satara Guest Cottages
Satara has 10 cottages with 5 or 6-beds, with well equipped kitchens and two bedrooms with 3 beds each. The master bedroom has a bathroom en-suite with bath, toilet, and washbasin. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Satara Guest Houses
• Wells guest house can accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each.
• Stanley guest house can accommodate 9 people in 3 bedrooms with 3 beds each)
• Frankel guest house can accommodate 8 people.
All the guest houses are fully equipped, with bathrooms en-suite, kitchen, lounge, dining room and TV.
