Shingwedzi Camp Reviews

Stay at Shingwedzi
My stay at Shingwedzi was better than at Skukuza.

Your accomodation leaves a lot to be desired, I could hear the neighbours conversations and even his snoring at night.

The Sunset Drive was a pleasant experience with our guide Bishop, this is a good man who enjoys and has a passion for his job.

Enjoyable
We really enjoyed our stay in the Rentmeester house. THe only suggestion I can make is that there should be at least one light bulb that is more than a glim in the main room. We commend Regina on the care that she takes.

well appointed but not clean; rat droppings in ill fitting kitchen drawers; cutlery inventory done 24 hours after our arrival, which defies the object of the exercise; frienlier staff than in Letaba

Shingwedzi Resting Camp
Aircons will be nice in huts. Ceiling fans sounds like aeroplanes and is disturbing during night time.

Shingwedze
Enjoyed the stay here. Enclosed grocery cupboard is an advantage. Shower floor just very slippery and could be a risk. Only one duvet cover on 1 of the 2 beds. (does not created a good impression)

Feedback on Shingwedzi Camp
Our stay at Shingwedzi camp was good. We missed grass at the caravan sites and I must say how disappointed I was tro see the few trees. If you want to satisfy the needs of your clients, the one thing that all caravanners want is abundant trees. Surely it cannot cost a fortune to plant a couple of trees! The swimming pool was a rescue after the 40°C we had on the day we travelled to Punda Maria and Pafuri area.

Loads of cats
Loads of game in terms of cats to be seen in the area. Only concern was the poor service at the restuarant

Shingwedzi accommodation.
Nothing to critisise. Monkeys stole my packet dried fruit from the car!

We know the restaurant is outsourced, but compliments to staff there. Warm, friendly waitresses. Chef grilled chicken breast to perfection.

Die Shingwedzi kamp is puik.

Baie netjiese badkamergeriewe. Die staanplek puik. Die restaurante se kos baie heerlik en skoon. Oral baie vriendelik ontvang. Sal beslis weer kom.

noise
Shingwedzi is a lovely camp will revisit it. Only one dissapointment. People at one of the quest houses were allowed to be very noisy at night, playing loud music from their car radio. I was amazed that this was allowed because it is not the policy of the park. What happend and why do management allow this. The music kept on playing for hours until way after 22h30

Service delivery
We arrived at 12.00 - the room hadn't been serviced and when the cleaner arrived at 12.30 she rather offered to offload our luggage rather than carrying out her duties (I suppose it was to earn an extra buck?)
