In the northernmost plains of the Kruger National Park surrounded by the Mopane Veld of the region, lies an oasis called Sirheni Camp. Nestled on the banks of the Sirheni Dam, on the Mphongolo River, under a shady canopy of large Jackalberry, Leadwood, Tamboti, and Knob Thorn Trees, 15 luxurious cottages can be found.
On the boundary of the dam sits a secret hide that attracts a variety of game and birds becoming an excellent feeding ground for Lions & Hyena's. There is also a local leopard that has made the dam his regular watering hole. Sirheni camp was established near an elephant graveyard and derived it's name from the Tsonga word meaning cemetery.
A sightings map at Sirheni Camp's reception is updated daily to track the whereabouts of the game.
The Luxurious accommodation at Sirheni Camp can provide lodging for a maximum of 80 guests in its Family and Guest Cottages.
Sirheni Family & Guest Cottages:
10 guest cottages with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms. 3 single beds in the one bedroom and 2 single beds in the other.
Bathroom en-suite with a bath, toilet, and wash basin in the one bedroom.
Also a separate toilet, a shower and wash basin in the cottage.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room is on the open veranda.
5 family cottages with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom which have a ceiling fan and 2 single beds. In the living room, there are 2 couch-beds cooled by a ceiling fan. A bath, toilet and wash basin with inter leading doors to the bedroom and living room.
Fully equipped kitchen and meals can be served in the dining room or on the open veranda.
Animals to look out for around the Sirheni Camp are:

3. Resident Leopard
4. Sable Antelope
5. Roan Antelope
