A family homestead from 1934, Granny Dot's Country Spot is set up in a warm, welcoming way, an ideal getaway for leisure travellers and jaded business folk. No traffic noise, no sirens and depending on make, cell coverage usually limited to outdoors. Accommodation consists of of six double rooms, each one individually and cheerfully furnished, all en-suite with ceiling fans, tea/coffee trays, toiletries, fresh flowers and heaters, hot water bottles and quilts for those chilly winter nights. Two of the rooms have self-catering options. Farm breakfasts are substantial, made with locally grown produce and can be taken on the sunny patio in summer. There is a huge log fire in the lounge with DSTV and numerous magazines, games and books for your enjoyment as well as a cosy pub for friendly get-togethers, pre-dinner drinks and a piano for impromptu sing-alongs!
